| Mission: |
| The mission of the Grief Ministry is to extend understanding, sympathy, prayers, support, and services to bereaved family members of the church on the death of immediate family members. The committee provides visitations, phone calls, and performance of services to bereaved family members on as-required basis. In addition, quarterly contacts are made by the committee for one year. |

| Condolence Committee |
| Mission: |
| The Condolence Committee provides a prayerful, compassionate and supportive ministry to the families of all deceased members of Ebenezer. |
| Description of Organization Activities: |
- Conduct Family visitation and prayer;
- Assist the bereaved family in planning the Funeral Services;
- Contact Department Directors/Auxiliary Chairs of departments in which member or family held membership;
- Contact all participants listed in the Order of Service to receive their confirmation before funeral programs are printed;
- Obtain count of family members to be served meal at Church or at home and establish time for the meal;
- Communicate detailed meal requirements to Social Committee Chair;
- Collaborate, compose, print and present the church resolution at the funeral service;
- Call the day before the funeral service to check with the family on last minute details/changes;
- On the day of the funeral, provide to Pastor, Ushers and musicians any special instructions, needs, or changes in the Order of Service and seating;
- Be in attendance at the funeral;
- Notify the Chair of the Grief Committee;

| Flower Committee |
| Mission: |
| The Flower Committee adds beauty and reverence to the worship services of Ebenezer Baptist Church by ensuring that flowers are on the Altar each Sunday. Flowers are donated by members and friends of the church in memory of, in honor of, and/or in tribute to loved ones and friends. The Flower Committee further extends the mission of the church by visiting and giving the Altar/Baptistry flowers to sick and shut-in members of Ebenezer after each worship service. |
