| Ushers, Greeters, and Health Awareness Team | |
| Mission: | |
| The Ushers, Greeters, and Health Awareness Team seeks to serve Christ by humbling ourselves to be servants unto his people, as we minister unto their physical and emotional needs and comforts. Our mission is embedded in scripture reference of Psalm 84:10 - " I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of the wicked." We stand at the door to welcome those who come to seek Christ through worship and those who come to witness in the form of songs, praises, prayers, testomonies and proclamations. As an auxiliary, we strive to attend to the added comforts that aid in making worship a loving and pleasant experience. We provide programs, fans, water, group and individual seating, as well as any and all assistance to members and visitors to help enhance the Christian experience while worshipping with Ebenezer. | |

| Mission: | |
| The mission of the Ebenezer Social Committee is to provide a high level of service to meet or exceed expectations of all who partake and receive such service. This committee exists to plan, coordinate, and execute all details for any and all receptions, dinners, meals, and refreshments associated with church-sponsored events. As part of the expanded duties of this committee, any catered banquests or events relating to food require estimates provided by the Social Committee. Examples of the types of events handled include weddings, Annual Disinguished Service Award Banquets, Liberation Sunday meal, pastor's Anniversary and Birthday, Monthly Fellowship meal, weekly Fellowship-Hour Reception, Watch Night Fellowship and meals for bereaved families. The committee has responsibility for ordering and stocking all necessary supplies for these events. Through the Social Comittee, Ebenezer also makes available the Family Life Center ( for a fee) for weddings, birthday celebrations, and other kinds of receptions. Arrangements may be made by calling the Church Office (512-478-1875) or committee chairman, Beatrice Williams at ( 512-926-0492). | |
